Visited my baby nephew at mount A. just now with cinder and jie... It means more to us than other baby nieces or newlywed we had cos we're closer... N this is like e first baby we welcomed in our batch. Yang yang is so cute... They comment that he resembles ah Jin a lot but I dun seem to be able to spot any resemblance yet at tis stage.. Haha to me babies all look somewhat the same.
Hmmm so amazing... Can't imagine when my turn comes... It'll be such a big role to be someone's parent. And it's like a whole different phase in life. Hahazz.... Too far to think at the moment. Just the thought of pregnancy n delivery scares me!
I shd think of nearer stuff first like wedding n a home? But meanwhile I shd still enjoy dating when I can! Cos priorities would be diff by then!

Anyway, sweet dar sent me to work today. Thou I hardly talked to him in the train cos I'm really not a morning person n such a sleephead on the way to work as always, hahahazz...

I miss dating. I miss going out somewhere, All dressed up, n looking fwd to what we are going to do, where we're going. N having fun completely.
Feels so long ago.... But well in fact not really. Tatnchele's last date was for Xmas 2010...N our anniversary. Which we enjoyed totally.n hong kong trip too.hmmm need not be a major date, but just a planned one except shopping, and guess we have to be in the mood ?

Ok maybe I'm a little bit bored this week, tat's why, hahaz...
Tml's gonna be a gd day! We're gonna attend baby shower my dear sherin's baby gal. Then we'll hav dinner at changi ... Wee~ I love gg far far away... East or west. North n town is boring.

Today is vday and it seemed a lil weird. At first, at work I saw a lot of deliveries for bouquets to whomever,... I didn't really envy like previous yrs. I just simply admired e beautiful ones and those super huge bouquets, I was thinking- wad a waste to spend such money. Hahazz... It's sweet to rcv flowers, but to me, it's the thought tat counts. Even if it's just a stalk, it's sweet. I prefer balloons or bears, or roche made. Heez.
Well then work was hectic cos I was switched to do e normal duties. And work was bad cos the customers were not loving on tis day. Maybe they dun hav valentine so were upset about it?! N my colleague cried cos she was bullied by another. So poor thing, I rmb the times I was driven to tears by tat crazy woman.
There was really no mood for vday towards the end of the day. I waited for knock off which was late and met dar....
We headed to vivo for dinner at AoBa n then dessert. We had intended to go the Henderson waves, my fav spot to juz chill ...
But, waited and waited n waited for cab until we cancelled our plan. I wasn't really disappointed actually... The wait was A whole 2 hours plus fr 9pm till late! It was crazy, ridiculous. But shockingly, we weren't the only ones who pressed on despite waiting for gd few hours. For us, we waited even thou we decided not to go for waves- cos my heels were killing me. I wore them cos I tot I'd be working as per schedule, so it won't require me to to walk or stand long at work. And it juz matches better w my attire cos I dressed up a lil ...but it proved to be a wrong choice. Yes I was silly. It was the first time we waited for sth for so long, but didn't lose our patience. The wait for me is meaningful. Cos it wS for me.... Dar was willing to wait to spare my feet fr further pain fr walking or standing in public transport. the thought of tat was sweet, it made me feel loved.
But of course I'd never want us to do it again.

Tml's valentine's day!
But I won't be celebrating it. And there won't be gift exchange, or any special surprise or anything. I'm not complaining, cos we belong to "old couples" now... After so many yrs, so many events celebrated... Seriously, we run out of ideas.
And vday used to be significant... But not so much to us anymore.
But well, looking at those bouquets and sweet gifts sold everywhere, i do feel the love atmosphere.
It reminds me of how much I do bother about vday in the past, especially during schooling days. Would wonder if I would receive any gifts fr my admirers, what would they be? Would anyone ask me out? N i'd envy those who get a lot of gifts.
I miss those feelings of anxiety and anticipation for vday....
It's still sweet to celebrate this day cos it's a day many would declare their love for each other, and a day tat pple will buy bouquets for their partners no matter how sky-high the price is....a day pple will rmb to do sth special for their love.

Wooohoo it's CNY!! So far so fun :). It's during this time of the yr everyone forks out some time to attend gathering... I love such gatherings.
Eve- knocked off fr work earlier than expected, about 2 plus. went home for steamboat reunion dinner with my family. Dar n jie's fiancé joined us. Then round 2 dinner at mayim restaurant w dar's family. After tat went to dar's hse... Helped to pack angbaos. Kinda fun, but can't imagine my turn soon! Hahazz... It's still better to receive.
Day1- visit to ah ma house ... We were like one of the first to reach thou it's was late afternoon. Only a few relatives were there. Nxt was another ah ma's house.. During the visits chatted with my cousin who's in her jc yr 2... We rarely chatted before cos of the age gap. But realized she matured a lot. And realized nowadays teens are into k pop than other music. Hahaz I could feel the generation gap!!
Hmmm btw it was quite a heart pain to see ah ma's health deteriote. She's still as jovial, but she looks so weak. V thin n so fragile. She needs help to stand, to walk, needs pple to feed her. I really hope she can get better soon...
Evening time was to 1st uncle's hse ...always there tat we'd camwhore a bit even my aunties. Hahazz. Happy to rcv compliments when they see me in my hazel lens. But personally I still feel more secure in my glasses.
Day2- Breakfast w family at occ's each garden. Was a damn ex feast!! Cost 500 plus ... Every yr it's kinda a tradition to hav a gd breakfast on day2. But this time really too ex, not worth!! As usual, visited Lao gu, my ahma's bro after tat... It's dar's first time to tag along.
It was a busy day, hahaz went over to stitch's hse also... It's like an annual thingy for me alrdy ... But I like e feeling cos it's like we're like a family too :) hope this yr we'll hav more time to meet, I really miss those long dates w u girl! Canned to dar's hse n evening time over to my 6th aunt hse... Gambling time!! No luck tat day, I lost $20 n dar lost too... Cinder dearie invited us to her hse and we all moved there... Got the chance to show dar n discus a lil bout our house cos it's somewhat similar layout as cinder's ...
Day3- lazy half day at hm... Cabbed down to dar's hse to meet him. omg i've been taking cab past few days!! Went to 2nd uncle's hse at hougang ...played cards there but no stakes. Was still fun! Taught dar n cousins about e game mum n aunties used to play often- la bee.
Was thinking when we grow older we may just end up like them, play cards to pass time!
The annual movie date this yr was the Great World. We caught it at amk hub... Nth fantastic, but was still nice la.

Ok and ytd, juz few hrs ago, Went xiaoqiang hse for steamboat! :) many latecomers so we started a bit late. Then played cards w them.. This time I won! Hahaz but it was actually toasted the end la, but poor jack n yq lost quite a sum...
Pity that the rest gotta work today, we gotta end early.... I was looking fwd to drinks n crap, but...
