the belated Kitty lab entry...

saturday was hello Kitty date with Katsy. =) We went Expo's Kitty Lab! hmm it's sth like an adventure ... we has to clear the game stations to get to another round. It was fun! the game was simple ones kinda like what u'll play in Wii... and if u win one round then u'll get to choose how u wanna customise your hello kitty.

Psst! photogpahy wasnt allowed, but we saw everyone taking so we followed! it was a pity not able to take many parts of the lab which was really cute. we sneaked ard when taking the pics so some wasn't clear...hahaZ let the photos do the talking then! ^__^

way to go, Mr Yim!

I was so very glad ytd when i saw the New Paper. I usually dun flip to the Food review pages where they intro nice eateries. I saw a familiar face, and read on...
Then i realise, it's an interview with my fav Sec sch teacher Mr Yim!
so happy to know that he's doing well now with famous ice-cream shops selling uniquely flavoured ice-cream. Pls patronise him when u can, i bet it's YUMMY! *Udders Ice Cream
think the nearest is Novena. hehe maybe someday i'll drop by and surprise him!
he was a teacher i looked up to, cos of his teaching methods and the way he manages to mingle with the students tat most of us liked him. And when I was struggling with my essay-writing before O-levels, he gave me alot of encouragement.
Thou he's not teaching anymore, I bet he influenced many like me. and i'm so glad to hear about his success in his ice-cream venture. Way to go !!~

pls tell me my decision is right...

hmmm i dunno, just all of a sudden, i wonder if i made the right decision to leave...
when i made that choice, I was firm. Cos even before I was offered, I already made up my mind.
It's not a position I'll see myself happy in, and see myself working long-term.
Generally I can cope with the work and stuff.. adn the pple are nice. The benefits are good.
But I dun like the structure, the nature of the work, etc. It's all about the work itself that drives me away.
I had 101 reasons which led me to my decision. and whenever I was persuaded to stay, I told whomever my rationale.
but suddenly, I'm swayed. Cos I tot my my plan for holidays next yr, i need the leave to be approved. I tot of my bonus too. I'm willing to forgo the bonus (i tot of it b4) but the hols part, I'm dying to go. I'm afraid tat my new job will have probation that wont allow me to.

hmmm... I have to be firm. I have to assure myself...
cos i dun wanna continue to be stuck in the rut. This phase will pass, and everything would be ok... i hope.

tat n chele's 73rd month!!
hehe another of our 22nd... this morning, i pulled myself out of bed 7 plus to acc dar for his vertical Marathon at Swisotel e Stamford.
it's a feat of 73 storeys... *wad a Coincidence!
wad better way to celebrate our 73rd month right. wahahaaz... but only dear did it, count me out! i can die from climbling overhead bridges alrdy.
Had subway at Raffles city after he completed the marathon...
then I headed back for my facial. So now while dar is coma-ing, i'm blogging.

1st driving lesson~

this morning was my first driving lessOn! =)
haha as i expected, i'm a slow learner when it comes to such practical stuff...
i think the instructor is good, cos he explains the steps and the reasons why must operate that way. But, sometimes i cant catch the ball.. haha and maybe cos he speaks not very clearly?
he keeps shooting me questions which he tot i shd have known, like wad's the function of the clutch and stuff...and a few other questions along the way that i dunno how to answer. EVERY ONE of them. hahahaazz...
I think he must be thinking, It's so hard to earn my money! hahah... too bad!
driving is so interesting. But i find it hard to multi-task ...think, act and see the surroundings... i gotta Jia you! hope the next few lessons would be less tough. ^__^

ytd met up with Sharon after a long time! =) tat's belated bday meet-up.
it's always when it comes to birthdays that we get to meet up with each other, simlar with other friends. We're just too caught up with our lives! hahaa...
well anyway the catch-up was great, loong chat over dinner at Sakae. I may become a wedding planner for Sharon! YAY~ hahaa =P

counting down to my first driving lesson this Sat. Wooh! I'm already nervous.

ytd was fri the 13th... but all went rather well, except from an irritating internal call.
Glad. cos the last fri the 13th i had a complaint wich was relly bad.
well anyway after work met Jareen and the rest of my ex-colleagues to Downtown east Chalet by Peggy.
We did some quick shopping for BBq stuff and snacks before heading there. Oh yup, Jareen's bf came as well, so tey stuck tgt. hmmn, didnt get to catch up with her much. and for the rest.. we seem like too comfortable tgt back to the days at work. Hardly chat.hahaa... so i wont say it's fun...Dar fetched me at Pasir Ris interchange. I find myself more timid after tat incident. I'm more afraid of walking alone, walking in dark places, etc.
today.... finally went for Tim Sum with dar at Fortunate Rest at Intl building. not the most Yummy, but i'm contented. =)
the rest of today so far is just facing the PC serving net... guess tml too?
We run out of things to do, places to go for now i guess. And cos we're on budget?

psst! i got my PDL last last week~
driving lessons gonna commence end Nov... Finally! =)
i'm so broke now... just like last mth. i guess it's time for me to better manage my finances when i get my pay coming week!
ok, the past weekend...
Fri was KTV with dear cinder... quite a while since we sang... then was stayover at her house. I lost sleep! had isomnia... tossing and turning throughout the nite.
Woke up early to meet dear for breakfast at Marsiling. Our fav Bak Kut Teh!~ YUM!!
slacked at home then at night we went durian dessert a Bugis and for Chicken Hotpot at Novena. wahaha~ we are so pampering ourselves with good food every weekend.
Ytd met up with my pri sch buddy for his bday. we had dinner at AMK hub... enjoyed our chats as usual... I'm glad he has moved on... and hope he'll have better luck from now on.
