Happy Chinese new year everyone... ! Huat ar~ hahaaa

Chinese new yr for me is a little different for the past few years.
Chu xi had reunion lunch with my family. tart and jie's fiance joined in as well... for the first time. and we always have reunion dinner cos mum would b working till late evening, but this yr it's lunch. sumptous steamboat as usual, yummilicious~ after that me and dar went over to his house to have reunion dinner. haha ... eat eat eat. another delicious meal with his family. then spent quality time with dar... it was short cos mum didnt allow a stayover. nevertheless, i treasured our moments before he left for America.
was quite surprised when dear asked me to drop wad i was doing to have a nice chat with him. We seldom have 'serious chats' for your info. it was sweet, we sat on his bed and he said a list of stuff -the doS and dontS that he wants me to keep in mind. like dun go out till too late cos nobody will send me home, to eat my meals regularly, etc. it's all simple reminders but it shows he cares. it was heartwarming...
went to airport the next morning to send dear off for his L.A. trip... he gave me goodbye hug and kiss and waved goodbye... i cried uncontrollably, in front of his family. i wanted to control my tears cos it's embarassing, but i couldn't. The fact that it is CNY and coming Vday makes it worse.
anyway, CNY has been good so far... visiting as usual. But this annual 'event' is interesting as u learn abt updates of relatives... and this yr, the more intersting one is that Kuan is attached. He kept so hush hush and even misled us that he as still single until we saw his gf at his house ytd. Oh yup.... this yr's cousin's annul movie date was on the first day itself. We caught "the wedding Game" by Fann and Chris. The storyline was kinda typical, but the parts were funny and sweet. Guess it wont e as nice if they were not the cast, or if they were not couple. I loved the wrestling part. hahaa...
Dear has called a few times since he left, but we chatted merely minutes cos the calls were too ex. $3.50 per min. WOAH. i'm still ok. so not to worry...

finally dated Nina ytd, first time since she left work...
nice to see her sport her new short hair. But it's really nice gal. Trust me.
we went to Delifrance at Taka, where we dated the first time... it was the same set meals, same seats and our long long chat again =)
Den randomly walked ard town...

Today's dear's last 3rd day in S'pore... so i'm off work today.
we're going nowhere in particular, just a day to be with him... to get his stuff ready and all...
i dun wanna count down anymore.

ytd attended Effendy & Asmah's wedding dinner.it was very different from usual malay weddings -more modern.

received an expressive compliment from a member today... it made my day really. esp when i was so discouraged, this gave me a boost. Hope it is the beginning of a good week~

weekends went shopping with dear to get his stuff for CNY/U.S. trip. I only bought a hairband from diva. hahaaz...
then we caught movie at Cineleisure orchard -"Rachel Getting Married". anyone who's interested in this movie, PLS DUN WATCH IT. trust me, it's damn boring lor! we kinda knew it from the start. those slow movies which enphasize alot of unimportant details. It bores with slow or no music, heaps of conversation which we not understandable humour. So halfway thru the show, i suggested that we leave the theatre and do sth more constructive instead. =) it's the first time we walked out of a boring movie [wee~ way to go!] cos we have watched a few of these kinda really draggy, boring shows but we'll endure till the end, and waste our time.

13 more days... to loneliness

i've kinda promised to myself i'll do better in my work this year.
I'll try to met all the standard deadlines, try to be more dedicated.
and so far, thou it's into th first week of Jan only, i have been doing my best. at least that's what i think. i sent out an email promptly ytd, but today my manager said i should have let her vet cos the reply was too stern. i only replied as advised by Finance side.... i feel so discouraged now...
it just doesn't work.

i'm tired.
weekends, pls be a good break.

today's a dread. been not in the mood to work ... Well i hope i'm not mentioning all too often these days?
hmmmn partly cos nina has left , there is no entertainment at work. and work seems never ending for the past week, which make me really tired.
u see i dun even know wad else to write...

hmmm haha actually the new year dont seem so significant to me anymore. it just marks the past of one calendar yr... i dun feel for that. but well, it's still a good time to recall what i've done over the past 2008, and make new resolutions.
hahaz Resolutions are always made every yr but never fulfilled. BUT i still set them out here... =P

-Exercise at least once fornightly.
-Be more concise in my work
-Praise more, complain less.
-More meet-ups with friends.
-Eat more fruits and drink more water
-Lesser late nights out

Shall keep it short. haha
