e looOng looOng weekend
it has been a gOOod looong weekend again ~
haha guess it'll be quite a while before we can enjoy such long PH?
been a fun-filled one for me... very Busy thou. Busy playing =P
i dun even noe where to start... but anyway on Eve, the last day of 2009, worked morning shift and went back to dar's house to help him with the preparation for our BBQ. As usual, he was the MAN who settled almost everything. From shopping of the BBQ food, prep to all the utensils as well. hehe this time I had a lil more contribution compared to the past few times. I made the pork with asparagus/golden mushroom and prepared marinated "packs" of golden mushroom.
Came evening ws the BBQ... We had to make do with trays and small pit borrowed from Mund (thanks!!) cos we didnt have a bigger pit like the other time.
the BBQ was sumptous~ we welcomed the new yr together with another group of friendly strangers beside us. They offered to have a new yr Yum Seng with us... hahaha.
I teased 2 of the couples in our clique by asking them to kiss for the camera. Usually when we come up with such ideas, me and dar wont Kena [ i dunno why but we just wont] but that day... they Sabo us.
I rejected straightaway...then dar suddenly turned and kissed me. Omg... haha i was so caught by surprise! cos usually he wont do that, we have nv kissed in front of his friends, even if it's just a peck on the face. They were shocked too. haha i was blushing all the way. They purposely said the pic wasnt taken in time... so we smudged again but was tricked as they actually filmed us!
certainly would be a memorable moment for us. =)
Over the past few days, we had been hanging out with his friends for shopping, supper, KTV and stuff... Ytd was the KTV. We went to some Ulu club in Sembawang to sing... it's the 2nd time I joined them for KTV session cos dar dun like to go cos he doesn't sing. I only stayed a while cos I wanted to recoup my lost sleep and be prepared for my driving lesson the following day. I was glad that they commented i sang well for "zui xin fu de shi" by Liang Wen Yin... most importantly cos darling thinks so too.
TodaY... i super-lucky day... I went for facial at noon. Then ling acc me for lunch at AMK cos I had spare time before my driving lesson at 3 plus. We randomly walked around after tat... went to Fairprice and happened to see a promo for the seaweed Tao Kae Noi. Every purchase was entitled to one sure-win lucky dip... the prizes were sampling packs, eco-bags, etc, and the grand prize was a giant-sized doll. We jokingly said if we won the doll it'll be take pains to bring it back. We bought the snack and participated in the lucky-dip. i chose the first ball i managed to feel...and i won the grand prize!! i was so so shocked... it was really a giant one! i had hoped to win the mini doll cos it was cuter, but it was luck that i won the big prize. Dar and me kept laughing after we redeemed the prize. It was really huge and so funny. He brought it home while i went for my driving lesson... Today's driving was alot better =) but i still have slight problems in managing the biting point. i'll jia you!
