- in the midst of job hunting -
haPPy Chinese New Year everyone!
been enjoying this festive season every little bit~ it's a good time for families and friends who have been busy the whole year round to meet up... chit-chat, play cards, eat... just getting together.
on "chu er" [the secod day of new yr], had tim sum in the morning as usual at Yum Cha Toa Payoh.. then went to Xiaojun house...kinda familiar with her relatives now cos every yr i'll be invited there... =)
then it was gathering over at MeiHuan's house... there was lion and dragon dance performance by her hubby's troupe. at night, we had our usual movie date... cousins + their partners. we watched Just Follow Law, the Jack Neo film starring Gurmit Singh and Fann Wong. it was a great show..funnY one indeed. Fann's acting in the movie was applaudable cos she really broughtout the character. after the show, my cousins Mei Huan and Yeng Ying stayed over at my house... it was squeezy but quite fun... btw, MeiHuan told me tat one guy from the lion dance troupe asked her to introduce me to him, cos he thought i'm pretty. hehe.. Pretty. i was quite pleased to hear that, cos it has been sometime since i was complimented... Cousin told him i'm attached and pointed tart to him.. so he said nvm he will Jia you.. told tart bout it... his reaction was a little different... sounded so cute when he asked me questions bout tat guy. he is concerned. hahaz..
the very next moring was K-lunch with Mei Huan and ah yi. it's nice singing with guys, cos i can sing duets with them..hehe. but seldom have the chance cos most of my guy friends dun sing.
i'm still in the midst of job hunting while some of my friends are already working.. i just gonna wait..
